Captain Jacque's Aquatic Adventures will be at the Family Fringe Event!

DESCRIPTION OF PIECE

Join Captain Jacque as he explores the depths of the ocean in search of interesting and unusual sea life. As a protector of the ocean, he also brings an awareness of environmental concerns facing our delicate planet. This production utilizes hand puppet and shadow puppet techniques that function to help bring the ocean to life. We may even have an encounter with a giant squid!

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Roger Lemelin is a theater artist and puppeteer living in Seekonk, Ma. He is a recent graduate of UConn's Puppetry Grad Program. He has worked with several theatre companies including The Wilbury Group, The Players at Barker Playhouse, and Burbage Theatre as actor, director, and designer. His goal is to continue to promote and bring awareness to important societal concerns through the puppetry arts.
