A one person telling of Gilgamesh that brings forth the friendship, adventure, and thoughtfulness of the ancient Sumerian epic, through his friendship with a hairy wildman, the battle with the Bull of Heaven, the Tale of the Great Flood, and the quest for immortality! ABOUT THE ARTIST John Heimbuch is an actor, writer, and director based in Minneapolis. He is the Co-Artistic Director of Walking Shadow Theatre Company and has been traveling the country off-and-on since 2019 performing the works of solo storyteller Charlie Bethel. He performed Beowulf at the Providence Fringe Festival in 2022. |
