Maggie's early for her audition. Win!

But it turns out to be a multimedia, meta take documenting the making of the movie while simultaneously making the movie. Or something.

Not so win.

That she then learns pays... a lot.

While the audition for the part she really wants just got moved up to today. Now, in fact.

And, apparently, one of these is the comeback of a reclusive, Kubrickian director missing for years.

This fast-moving comedy set against the normalized insanity that is the audition process sees Maggie assess how she got here and where exactly she's going.


ABOUT THE ARTIST

Actress Miracle Laurie was born in Huntington Beach, CA. She starred as Mellie in the series Dollhouse and has guest starred on numerous popular series including The Afterparty, SEAL Team, and S.W.A.T. Her feature credits include Any Day Now, Scenic Route and Mesmerized. Recently, Miracle released her debut album Parts of Me - Volume 1.

october tells stories. As a filmmaker he wrote and directed both the short Seven Lanterns and the follow-up feature Mesmerized which is currently playing the festival circuit.

Actress Waiting to Audition is his first play.
