Three Exits takes an uncompromising look at the intersection of three flawed, fierce and fragile lives. Karen (the ex-lover), Mary (the ex-wife), and Adam (the ex-husband), reunite to figure out what happened, to remember the good and bad, but mostly to put the whole damn thing to rest. Adult themes and mature content. ARTIST HOMETOWN Providence, RI / Boston, MA / New York, NY ABOUT THE ARTIST Rhode Island native Gino DiIorio returns home to premiere a raw and personal play. On the heels of a string of successful Off Broadway and regional theater productions, this marks the award-winning playwright's first staging in his home state. An artistic reunion of sorts between Gino and actresses Karin Trachtenberg and Mary Potts Dennis, all three attended Clark University together (where Gino is now theater department faculty chair). Three Exits was conceived after years of nagging to write something for his college buddies. Karin Trachtenberg can be seen performing in theaters throughout New England, as well as on the independent film festival circuit. A classically trained actress, her most recent role was playing Agamemnon in Euripides’ Iphigenia at Aulis. David Anderson’s most recent credits were with Zeitgeist Stage in Love, Valour, Compassion and Faceless which won 2 IRNE awards for best director and best play- fringe. In addition to his duties as a dad and advocate for his autistic son, David moonlights as a high stakes No Limit Texas Hold’Em Player. Mary Potts Dennis holds a degree in theater arts from Emerson College and has starred in many Massachusetts regional and repertory productions, most recently as Celia in Greater Boston Stage Company’s production of Calendar Girls. Kathryn Howell is a proud member of Actors Equity Association. Her directing credits include several new plays, as well as working with 45+ playwrights as the Artistic Director for South West American Playwrights Lab in Albuquerque, NM.
